Executive Director
Monique Armand is the Executive Director for Milam Street Kitchen Incubator Community Kitchen at 91pro视频 at Shreveport. She owns and operates Sassi Catering which was opened in 2010 and established Sassi Café in 2016 in Downtown Shreveport. She is a former Professor for 91pro视频 at Shreveport and University of Phoenix.
Monique participated in the 2016 Louisiana Food Prize with the “Battle of the Golden Fork”, hosted several dinners in conjunction with “318 Restaurant Week”, was one of the Premier Chefs at the “Signature Chef Gala” hosted by the March of Dimes, and partnered with the Downtown Development Authority of Shreveport at the “Holiday Pop Up Shop” that featured local small businesses. She was honored by the Shreveport Times as having one of the 3 Top Gumbos and Top Lunch Spots in Northwest Louisiana.
Monique earned her B.S. in Marketing from Grambling State University in Grambling, Louisiana in May 2002. She earned her M.B.A. from Philadelphia University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in May 2003. Monique earned her Culinary Arts Degree from Escoffier School of Culinary Arts in May 2022.
